Book Review One!

Let Them Eat Fruitcake- a beautiful novel written by Melody Carlson that I have just finished enjoying! Once past the first page you are enchanted by the wonderful story of four very unique young twenty-somethings living together at 86 Bloomberg Place. There you uncover romance, friendship, and drama like that of 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants'. One of the four, Kendall, a tall slender Paris Hilton look-alike with attitude and vanity to boot. Anna, an intelligent book editor with a loud obnoxious Latino family. Thirdly, Lelani, a beauty from Hawaii who has a hidden past that she shoulders, and lastly Megan who works as a interior designer and will be spending her first Christmas without her father. With laughs and stories all of us have been through, this book will keep you entertained. The girls find that the meaning of Christmas isn't having a perfect family, cute boyfriend, or a trip to the Bahama's its one of thankfulness and gratitude for what you've been given. This year Christmas isn't anything without a little fruitcake!
